Our Process

How It Works: The PICS Trust Ecosystem works through a structured network of participants, each with defined roles to ensure scale, verification, and integrity.

  1. Registration: There are two streams of registration.
    1. Any not-for-profit legal person like Government Organization, Foundation, Charity Organization, Society, Trust, Company etc. can register itself as a Pro Bono Service Organization (PSO), by furnishing the following details
      1. Sector
      2. Name of Government Organization, Foundation, Society, Trust or Company
      3. First Name of authorised signatory
      4. Last Name of authorized signatory
      5. Email – password confirmation
      6. Phone – password confirmation
      7. Address, State, City, State, Country, Pin or Zip Code
      8. KYC Details (Any One) – PAN, Aadhar, Passport or any other ID
    2. PSO can thereafter get any not-for-profit legal person like Government Organization, Foundation, Charity Organization, Society, Trust, Company etc. affiliated to it registered as a Pro Bono Service Provider (PSP), by furnishing similar details in respect to it.
    3. PSP can thereafter get any person registered as Pro Bono Service Volunteer (PSV), by furnishing similar details in respect to the volunteer along with details of the nominee.

  2. Payment of Registration Fee
    1. Registration fees for PSO is INR 10,000 or its equivalent in any currency. On registration and payment of registration fees, the PSO will receive 1,000,000 PICS in its ledger account.
    2. Registration fees for PSP registering under a PSO is INR 1,000 or its equivalent in any currency. On registration and payment of registration fees, the PSO will receive 100,000 PICS in its ledger account.
    3. Registration fees for PSV registering under a PSP is INR 100 or its equivalent in any currency. On registration and payment of registration fees, the PSV will receive 10,000 PICS in its ledger account.
    4. If the PSP is registering itself directly and not through a PSO Registration fees for PSP is INR 10,000 or its equivalent in any currency. On registration and payment of registration fees, the PSP will receive 1,000,000 PICS in its ledger account.
    5. Registration fees for PSV registering under a PSP remains the same i.e. INR 100 or its equivalent in any currency. On registration and payment of registration fees, the PSV will receive 10,000 PICS in its ledger account.

  3. Confirmation of Registration: As soon as the PSO, PSP or the PSV is registered it will receive a confirmation email message.

  4. Transfer of PICS:
    1. A Registered PSO can transfer as many PICS to PSP as it considers reasonable, just and proper depending upon the activities and number of PSV working under PSP and can charge amount from PSP in the same ratio as it has received.
    2. A Registered PSP can transfer as many PICS to PSV as per the schedule as determined for that sector on per hour, per week, fortnightly or per month basis.

  5. Utilizations of PICS by PSV: Every PSV who has received PICS for carrying out pro bono activities from PSP can use it as follows:
    1. Retain to showcase social impact contribution
    2. Redeem for Goods and Services from those in PICS Eco System
    3. Exchange for GST
    4. Gift to any other PSV
    5. Succession to the nominee
